The National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided Aurangabad on Wednesday. This raid of NIA was done at the house of jailed Naxalite commander Vinay Yadav and his son-in-law. Naxalite commander Vinay Yadav, who was most wanted in five states including Bihar-Jharkhand with a reward of four lakhs, surrendered last year with more than one crore levy amount. The National Investigation Agency has raided Vinay Yadav’s ancestral residence at Deura under Amba police station in Aurangabad and his son-in-law’s house in Mahsu.
According to the information, diary and mobile have been seized in the raid. It is being said that very important information is recorded in the diary. According to the information, the raid went on for about an hour. Meanwhile, a mobile phone was seized from the house of jailed Naxalite commander Vinay Yadav alias Guruji alias Murad ji and a diary from the house of his son-in-law Prem Kumar alias Pappu Yadav in Mahsu of the same police station. It is being said that the NIA had come to investigate the property acquired by Naxalite Vinay in the name of relatives. During this, Vinay’s family members have also been questioned.
Significantly, before this raid of NIA, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized assets worth crores of Vinay. The ED has already attached Vinay’s Deura house, son-in-law’s house and property worth crores in Aurangabad. The attached properties include six plots of land, three buses, a Bolero, a mini van and a JCB in the names of Vinay’s family and his son-in-law’s family members.
Along with this, many bank accounts of Naxalite’s wife, daughter-son-in-law and his father Saryu Yadav have already been frozen. Apart from this, the ED has already seized the house and other properties located at Kama Bigha in Aurangabad city. According to information, dozens of cases of robbery, murder and dacoity are registered against Naxalite commander Vinay in Bihar and Jharkhand.
It is worth mentioning that last year the prize Naxalite of CPI Maoist Vinay Yadav alias Kamal alias Murad was arrested by the police team. The Naxal cell of the Bihar government had declared a reward of five lakhs on him. In Jharkhand too, a reward of 10 lakh was declared against him. At that time Vinay was arrested from Mayapur village of Daudnagar police station area. He had gone to the house of one of his associates in Mayapur. On receiving information about this, the DIU team, Daudnagar police and CRPF team nabbed him.
A weapon and cartridges were also recovered from it by the police. After the arrest, at the instance of Vinay, levy amount of more than one crore was also recovered. Along with this, the police had also picked up Kamlesh Yadav, resident of Ghurandih village of Dhibra police station area, Awadhesh Yadav, resident of Langurahi village of Madanpur police station area, Pintu Yadav, resident of Ghurmeth village. The police had also detained Dumri Panchayat Mukhiya Ravindra Yadav of Kutumba block from Gandhinagar of Nagar police station area and questioned him regarding Naxal connection.
